TEG is widely used as a dehydrating agent for natural gas, a plasticizer, and a solvent in industries such as textiles, resins, printing inks, adhesives, and air sanitizers. It is also employed in humidification systems, electrolytic capacitors, and as a carrier fluid in fragrances and disinfectants due to its low volatility and high boiling point.
